The advice that Henry has given us about our children's cases has been invaluable. With Henry, you really know he is listening and genuinely taking in your concerns. His knowledge of the law regarding all areas of the school system is stellar. There were so many things we didn't know about, questions that we didn't even know to ask until Henry reviewed our case and helped us work through all considerations. Highly, highly recommend Henry for anyone dealing with any type of educational issues. We were so much more prepared, and understood what was possible in a way that we never would have without his expertise.

I recently worked with Henry on a case. He explained everything so I could fully comprehend the details. He was patient with my many questions. He helped me make the best decisions for my specific situation. He also helped me to be on the lookout for potential future conflicts that could arise. I felt like he genuinely cared what happened. Thank you, Henry!!

We were deeply impressed with the care and attention Henry showed in reviewing our child’s file and in providing recommendations. His personal approach and understanding were above-and-beyond what we found from other lawyers.

Pro Bono Education Lawyers in Philadelphia

The rules governing legal fees in many special education matters are structured to help parents with fees.  For example, section Sec. 300.517 of the IDEA provides that in certain circumstances, a parent who successfully brings claims against a school district can have some or all of the special education attorney fees paid by the school district. This law, and others, can significantly aid parents in obtaining legal representation particularly when free special education lawyers or Pro Bono lawyers are often very difficult to find.
